The queen bee is usually the mother of most, if not all, of the bees in the beehive. She is powerful and ruthless from birth. Virgin queens will quickly find and kill any other emerged virgin queen in the hive, they will fight to the death until only one remains.

Honey, the queen bee’s purpose, contains the power of life and death. The queen bee represents the majesty of the feminine and the potentiality of creation.

She is a creator. She is a leader. She is a mother.

The queen bee embodies her purpose and has the grit and tenacity from birth to fulfill her potential. Her own children will kill her when her purpose has ended. The dance of life is her joy, the travesty of death is her destiny—honey is her gift to the earth.
